If you go into messaging settings, scroll all the way to the bottom, check the checkbox to enable black background, that will take care of your problem. Reboot for settings to take effect.

Yup, that's the updated MMS app, not the theme (at least I think it's not the theme). I use Handcent so it's never an issue for me. ;)

Open Maps, then Menu> More> About and see what version you are running.

I am revamping the main Sapphire update tonight (or tomorrow) to fix those issues and more..

In the meantime use tme Maps/Twitter Patch/update for the latest Maps/Twitter apps. I fixed it about an hour ago ..

New 928Droid Black Glass for Sapphire v0.8.4 now available in Main Thread.

Fixes:
Themed Maps v4.4
Themed Twitter v1.0.2
Mms "Black" app hopefully defaulted to Black background on initial install.
All the "C revisions" enhancements.... :)

You can recognize the updated file by the "c1" code in the file name...please delete prior downloads.

Enjoy!

The "c1" update to Sapphire is great, but on the Favorites and the Call log screens in the Phone app. When I scroll up and down, a black square appears behind the Phone icon on the right side of the screen. See attachments.

The black squares go away if I back out and then back into the Favorites. But they come back when scrolling again.

Not a big deal, just thought you should know.

And yes, I did a clean install. (Formated data, system, cache and boot, through Clockwork recovery. Installed 0.8.4, loaded all apps from market and some backed up ones. Let it get stable. Then installed your updated "c1" theme for Sapphire.)

That is the current behavior of that app, I just Theme em, not make em :)

When that behavior is updated(fixed), I will reTheme and post an update.

Basically it's an Android "current state" deal that needs to be smoothed out.
