No screen shot.... But just got done with almost 3hrs of straight watching YouTube and 74% remaining. That's pretty good in my book

So after 6 days with it. I used the wall charger the first 4 days and turned it off charging it the last 2 of the 4 days, trying to make sure that the battery is conditioned as much as possible.

IMO, the battery sucks. Now, I can go an entire day without having to charge it, so it'll work for me, but at 3900mAh, I would hope my battery stats would be better and my droid's life would be longer. I actually went down to 12% on Friday by bedtime. That's FAR lower than I feel I should have dropped with just a day's usage. I'm just not seeing the life expectancy that I would expect with a battery this size. Maybe Lollipop will make it better.

However, while I believe this to be poor performance, I'm not running back to VZW to swap out for another device. At least not yet. I can make it through a full day with fairly heavy usage, so there is that.

I'm extremely happy with the battery performance. During the day I had these results and my brothers were envious of the usage I had with plenty of juice in reserve.

Wow I just noticed everyone here has a low Android System %. I have just recently noticed that mine right now its at 23% Don't know why it's so high lately. My battery now is at 37% with exactly 12hrs on battery. Screen time on is 2hrs 15min. 29% screen brightness. How can I lower my Android System %? This looks like it's draining my battery more.

That sounds suspect to me based on what I've seen. I think you may have something running in the background, or an app hanging possibly? Have you tried powering off your device for a few?

Hi, yes I have still the same. I'm going to back track and see what new apps I installed recently and uninstall them and see.

You probably already know this, but make sure your location settings are set to a battery saving mode.

Should I clear the Cache Partition ? Was reading about this. Just to be safe all my apps and settings will still be there?

Can't hurt. Everything will still be there as long as it's just the cache that is getting cleared.

Ok, update, so I didn't clear the cache I left the phone to charge overnight when it was off. Took it off the charger at 12PM today. Now it shows 7% Android System this is how it should be. Very weird I now have 4hrs exactly on battery with 90% left, screen at 39% only 40min of screen on time while streaming music in the car with the screen on via Bluetooth. So far so good :D

Charging with power off has proven time and time again to be a valuable process. It doesn't always fix aparent battery issues but certainly does work often enough to be considered.
