The bionic community is dwindling...

I am :D I love my bionic and am thoroughly enjoying the custom roms flooding out right now for the ics leaks. No reason to change for at least a year..... I kept my D1 for over two years. Quadrant on liquid 2.6 jmod over the 232 leak scores over 3050, both cores are firing and the roms are very stable

Sent from my ICS DROID BIONIC using my fingers

I also love my bionic. I'm on .2233 rooted rommed on blackhole. Im overclocked to 1.4 ghz and stable. Just scored a 3506 quadrant score. This phone is more amazing to me everyday. Especially because of the great developers we have right now in this community.

Seeing as this is my first smartphone and it does everything I need it to (especially now that it's running ICS!) I can overlook the things that have crippled it because I'm not as much into modding/tweaking my phone.(Of course Moto and VZW's lack of showing Bionic owners the love it's other phones are given is a bit suckish) But I just want a fast, reliable phone that stores my MP3's for on the go,takes pics when I need to,goes online to do whatever..and feels solid in my hand. I will eventually retire my Bionic, possibly this time next year..but if it ain't broke....

i have an upgrade i can use now! BUT not going anywhere just yet...this phones rockin guess i'll hang on for a little while longer...hey this is my 100th post:biggrin:

I'm here for the long run. I'll buy a replacement if/when I need to. Don't ever plan to buy a subsidized phone again.

I'm very satisfied with my Bionic. The extended battery and ICS make it great IMO. Definitely sticking with it.

I'll keep using my bionic with 238 just because it have more stable data and better voice compared to my gnex hopefully bionic get jb if not ota I'll be happy with jb leaks

Also got to play with gs3 for a week gotta say it run circles around the bionic 238 1.3 when you stress test it side by side you'll notice a huge differences in raw power and that's with touchwiz
Once i unlock - root - aokp it's a complete different beast without all that touchwiz crap and sorry to say the bionic cant compare the gs3 is in a complete different league

I'm just really dissapointed with the gs3 build quality but as for the data and voice it much better than the gnex

I too have the bionic, no tweaks, mods or rooms. Straight out of the box, it rocks. I have seen videos for the galaxy 3, maxx, and nexus. Still I like my phone better.

+1 3 batteries &a stand alone charger that don't fit a razr nexus or s3

At first i wasn't happy with my Bionic. After giving it a few months i started to appreciate it. Thing i love the most is the dedicated people on this and other forums. Sure it might be getting smaller but hell...that's alright. Good luck finding another group of helpful folks!

I'll jump ship when Motorola brings the big guns out and actually makes an end game phone again. As it stands right now though, I refuse to support Samsung and my Bionic is keeping me pretty content. People say Motorola isn't supporting it, but that's not true...we're getting new ICS leaks every so often which means they haven't forgotten about us. To be honest however, I think the best thing they probably could do is give us an unlocked bootloader and then officially absolve themselves of the Bionic. Wishful thinking though, right?

I plan on keeping my Bionic for a several reasons:

I'm stuck in a contract .
I'm looking at retirement shortly and I won't be able to afford a new phone as often as I have been. Besides I'm tired of trying to stay up to date with the latest and greatest. I'm sticking with what works.
When I bought the phone, I got a heck of a deal because it was discontinued. I wound up with 2 regular and 1 extended battery, a charging dock, a lapdock and the phone itself for 150 bucks. Probably never get that kind of deal again.
And the number 1 reason for keeping my Bionic, it works. It makes phone calls, it surfs the Internet, it gets my e-mail, it looks better in the sunlight than any phone I've seen or used.
Sure, if it dies or stolen, then I'll have to get something else, but for now, me and my Bionic are the best of freinds.
