Task killers on froyo?

Task killers useless while running froyo?

I read that they actually keep froyo from operating properly. Any truth to that?

100% truth to that

Sent from my Original Droid using the Exclusive Droid Forums App (Available Free in the Market)

Just a waste of space and battery power. Killing apps before they need to be killed = bad killing apps that just restart to be killed again = bad just let android do what it does. It will take care of you and leave the apps that you use most frequently in memory for ease of use and speed. Droid just does!

Abe, you need to talk to the Admins about getting that set up as a stock smilie here! :D

OP, the only one of those I'd trust on my phone is juice defender. The others sound like bad news for the Android OS. Android ain't no Blackberry, yo! :icon_ banana:

I had atk too then read all this stuff about how useless it is .I was VERY skeptical but then decided to try it. So far it seems faster with better battery life. But I would say make sure you have gotten rid of the bloat, moto/verizon bloat seems to try to overstep 2.2's task managing ability

Swyped from DROID X, so grammer could be awful.
