apps staying open after update

Since froyo updates it seems like apps open and stay running even after i kill mthem with advance task killer. Also just wondering what task killer is the best to use if I should use any.

A few things:

1. Get rid of your task killer. It's not needed, this is a Droid not a Blackberry.

2. Do not worry about apps running in the background. Unless you see them using battery life when you look at your battery usage, they aren't.

3. Please - use the search. It has been discussed thousands of times in this this forum.
