Swype's new version sucks.

Downloaded the latest swype probably a month ago and it doesn't recognize the words like previous versions. Also the tip s window keeps popping up even though it is disabled. I think the original swype was best.

Yeah I agree with you. I can't text nearly as fast as I did before. Not sure whats going on but hopefully it gets fixed.

I agree, I use SlideIT now, it's my new alternative until Swype is better.

Really? The last version I was using wasn't performing up to expectations at all. The latest beta has corrected them for me.

Odd. I haven't had these issues. I do have words that keep getting added (such as "ii") though.

I still have Shapewriter on my SD card after upgrading to the D2. I hate the way swipe works compared to SW.
