Stuck at "M" after system restore with ROM mananger

So I was rooted with the leaked 2.2. I wanted to restore back to 2.1 so i could get the 2.2 OTA update. I used rom manager and a system backup I had. The restore looked like it worked great but now Im stuck at the "M" boot screen. What do I do now?

When I was asked what I wanted to restore I just said I wanted to restore my previous data and cache. But no I didn't do a wipe. How bad did I mess this up?

Did you wipe the data and cache?

doesnt matter for the DX because its not a full recovery.

cant go from 2.2 to 2.1 even with a backup. have to flash the sbf from here

Droid X

and scroll down to restore to stock unrooted 2.1.

Ok so Im trying to flash the .sbf file from the link you gave me using RSD but it keeps failing. It starts the create the image and finished that part and then fail and say "Failed flashing process. Failed flashing process. Phone[0000]: Phone is not compatible with multi-interface super-file. (0x703b); phone connected". Now what?

lmao why thank you i get that about 3 times weekly when i fix someones DX :)

but really its pretty simple to follow - glad u got it back
