Sprint has announced two new "unlimited" plans that will start on July 13th.
  • Unlimited Plus: A feature-rich plan that includes unlimited data, talk and text with more mobile hotspot data, TIDAL Premium music streaming and the TV you love, with Hulu, HD streaming and additional global roaming options – all at the industry’s best price.1
  • Unlimited Basic: Perfect for customers who may not need additional features but who still want unlimited talk, text and data and Hulu, at a great value.2
  • Unlimited Military: Designed especially for veterans, active duty and reserves of the U.S. armed forces.3
  • Unlimited 55+: A distinct Unlimited plan designed for people over 55 that provides exceptional value.4
The first plan, Unlimited Basic, is basically a worse version of Sprint’s existing $60-per-month Unlimited Freedom plan. It cuts LTE hot spot data from 10GB to just 500MB, and it’ll throttle video down to 480p, which it didn’t do in the past. It will still include a Hulu subscription (with commercials).

The second plan, Unlimited Plus, costs $70 per month, and it’s closer to the company’s original plan. It includes 15GB of LTE hot spot data and no video throttling. Sprint will also throw in a subscription to Hulu and Tidal (the entry-level version, without lossless audio). Both unlimited plans also include some amount of additional data for roaming in Mexico and Canada; hot spot speeds drop to 3G after hitting the limit.

Unlimited......up to a certain point. If Sprint worked better around here I would maybe switch for that Military plan. But the folks I know with Sprint say the call coverage is not great in some parts of our area.

me just sayin

just be sure to look at what the videos would be playing at if you stream. seems there's a lot of downgrading if you go to the new unlimited packages.

Their streaming quality with these new plans seems pretty good.
