Preface:
I'm not using any home applications, as the few I tried have crashed on me, or the videos I've seen on youtube do not impress me much enough to try (I like the themes and widgets, but none of the launchers). So instead, for right now, I'll make do with native apps and customizations and then soon my own. I hope to make my own icons next with GIMP.

I like this thread and some designs are incredibly nice, in fact too far advanced for me at the moment since I'm still new to this. I'm partial to the simple designs with functionality, and not just a flurry of apps on the desktop. In fact, my windows machine doesn't have any on the desktop.

But I think this thread could use some sort of template or set of rules about posting. 60 percent of the thread is are questions regarding what widgets people use. So now I'm just going to be the paragon of excellence and include what widgets and apps I use. I hope others follow.

Apps/Widgets/Themes:
Wall Paper: high voltage by Larkitect
Power Control Widget,
Digital Clock Widget,

My Coupons Widget,
Advanced Task Killer Widget,
Flashlight App,
Calendar Widget,
Astrid Widget,
Sound Player Widget.

Nothing. I actually have just two apps, mitch hedberg and rodney dangerfield quotes. I just used them to make me smile during the day. Other than that its a throw away screen for right now with the potential for something else. maybe a 4x4 calendar.. who knows. Open to suggestions.
