Minimalistic Text is just a time, date and battery stat widget. To get text icons you can either use google or download "TextIconCreater For ADW" through the market, it's free. Anyway, here's a different setup of mine.

i cannot find the texticoncreator

In a minute I'll post the apk.

Text Icon Creator For ADW Users

TextIconCreater is an application program that customizes the icon on ADW.Launcher.

ADW.Launcher or ADWLauncher EX is necessary.

【 How to use 】
1.Long press on an icon on the homescreen or dock
2.Select "Edit"
3.Tap the icon picture
4.Select "ADWTheme Icon Packs"
5.Select "TextIconCreater For ADW"
6.Begin editing icon to your liking
7.When finished editing click "Preview"
8. If satisfied, click "Set Icon" if not, click "Cancel" and continue editing.

The selection of an external font was enabled by making the folder named texticonfonts right under the SD card, and putting the font file.
The extension of the font file is only present point TTF.

Recent changes:
･Change in interface
･Change in color picker dialog
･The permeability setting of an external image is added.

When i increase the size past 20, it starts cutting off letters. Is there a way to fix that?

Unfortunately no, I just used less letters. Shortened Facebook to fb and stuff like that.

I have issues with changing mine too. I change it and it stays the same, I have to reboot and what not.

Hey I found another option in ADW that may help you out. This option is in ADW EX so I don't know if the option is available for other versions of ADW.

Go to ADW Settings>UI Settings>Main Dock>Main Dock Size

It lets you scale the size of the icons on the dock to make them a little bigger, i was able to make 5 icons all together, 4 icons plus the app launcher icon, up to size 35. Here's a screenshot.
