Screenshots of peoples Droid desktops?

Inspired by mkcm97's use of his own photography. :)

A picture I took during a dreary day in Amarillo, Tx, enhanced with el samuko's lomo script. :D

both wallpapers were shot by me (i know they suck, but hey it's my first time!)

the 3g signal icon in the status bar was also done by me (same as above haha)

Nicely done bro! You told me I can download those type of texture instead of icons, but couldn't find a website man. Idk what exactly its called, so maybe I'm typing the wrong search info.

sorry bud... not quite sure what your asking. could you try to rephrase? i'd be happy to help

To easily get Text Icons if you're using ADW, just follow the steps below:

1. Go to the Market, click the search icon and type in "TextIconCreater For ADW" then download and install it.
(I know creator is spelled wrong but that's how it's spelled on the Market)

2. Put whatever icon you want on the homescreen or the dock.

3. Long press the icon and click "Edit"

4. Click on the icon, then click "ADWTheme IconPacks"

5. Click "TextIconCreater For ADW"

From here you change multiple things, text, text size, text color, gradient, text alpha, text font, add a mirror effect, background, background color, background gradient, background alpha or make the background another icon.

It's a nice little tool to have which is also how I got my homescreen to look like this below.

Battery widget is "BattStatt"

Clock Widget is "TypoClock"

Credit for TypoClock goes to Semicuda at XDA, you can download it from here:

Any comments would be appreciated.

I wanted to know how you made your icons and time all texting format. You told me I had to download through internet, but couldn't find what I was looking for.

Use Minimalistic Text.

Minimalistic Text is just a time, date and battery stat widget. To get text icons you can either use google or download "TextIconCreater For ADW" through the market, it's free. Anyway, here's a different setup of mine.

Not true. You can include static text of your own in Minimalistic Text.

My point is, its still just a widget. Can't be used as a dock icon.

That's why I don't reply when I need sleep. xD

Although I have gotten something similar by hiding the dockbar and just placing those widgets on the bottom. Not the exact same as a dock, but I do like the option of not making the "dock" confine to the 5 shortcuts.
