Screenshots of peoples Droid desktops?

I'm not 100%, but I think the blond girl in one of your wallpapers might be a little young if you know what I mean.

I understand what you mean, I just don't understand how someone can make such a comment without being 100% sure, remember what you see is not always what it is, but hey.. I just removed the image to shut this can of worms before it get's too nasty..!:icon_eek:

I've seen past layouts where there are red counters for things like unread SMS, email, etc..

How do you get those to appear over the short cuts?

Not sure about others, but it is an option in settings in Launcher pro

Using the option on Launcher Pro will only set up the counters on the icons on the dock and nothing else.

If you want to have icons with counters anywhere on the wallpaper you need SMSUnread Count from the market. There's a couple of icons that come default on the app but then again if you want to take your work to the next level you need some customization to it.

You can have it set up in different ways like I did here:

or here:

or even change the color of the counters just like gomorrah from XDA did

here's another screen with green counters

There's 2 ways to accomplish any of this SMSUnread setup's

1.- Get a transparent icon (see attachment) and place it inside of SD/data/com.kanokgems.smswidget
Now to set up the widget go to the widgets menu>smsunread>select the widget type> tap on the green text icon> you will see a new menu with different icons inside of it, look for the transparent one and select it>uncheck show icon label>counter size=large>select if you want to show a "0" or not>press ok
Now you should have a counter with a transparent icon that you can set up in top of any other icon

2.- Instead of a transparent icon, get 3 icons, one for phone, text and email and place them on the same folder.
From here everything its the same, the only difference is that now there will be an icon that you can now see next to the counter.

I hope all this make sense :)
EDIT:nvm got it working.

However, is there a way to set the transparent widget over an existing icon or do I have to set that icon in the folder as well?

newest stuff! check it out on deviant art and custom android!

A couple questions:
1) How does one get a lock-screen like that? I know I can get this image, but is there a tutorial on this site for how to install it? My search-fu is horrible and I get a bunch of threads not related to what I want.
2) On the second and third screens, are those the home screen or what it looks like with the notifications pulled down?
3) If the former, is this just showing off the home screen minus personal items added? I guess I just found it odd somebody wouldn't have more on their home screen despite how nice that looks.

1)check out "widget locker" in the market, it supports custom themes. the one you see there is one that I created.
2)The second and third screens are indeed homescreens
3) everything I need is right in front of me. I have hidden actgions for my main apps, a clock, my battery percent, and my unread emails. that's all i need on my main screens.
