When you click on the file it should open. When you click existing theme, does it show the darkedge folder as unzipped?

No, after I click it metamorph app shuts off.
Is there any other way to do this?

What exactly about DarkEdge do you like? There are icon packs for it and there is an ADW theme for it. Also, if you take the zip and replace all the .pngs in the ROM with the ones in the theme and zip it all back up then you should be good to go. But, that's quite a process

also do you suggest a better theme. I just want a slick one, cool looking, practical. I don't know all of them so any suggestions would also be great.

Okay, try this. I had to do this once. Unzip the theme on your computer, then move the DarkEdgeEriz.zip into the Android Themes folder on your SD card. Then open MM, start checks and click existing theme. It should show the name of the folder, something similar to what it was originally named, and it should be a blue folder that looks open, click on it, if it shows a list of items look for a apply all button, if it shows another folder, click that one. You want to apply the .xml which will have a big green M next to it

Sometimes you have to unzip the file prior to loading it with Metamorph... it doesn't play nice with Froyo as far as I can remember anyways. If you unzip the file, then place it in the AndroidThemes folder on you sdcard and find it with metamorph it may work properly.

okay so all that is showing up is META-inf and system. I have gone as far as I can in both and not a single .zip or .xml file. The folder itself is titled DE. When I went on metamorph I got the exact same files with no .zip or .xml and no symbol.

You didn't even see a framework folder? How about this, I'll put this on my phone in the morning and tell you what I get or what the reason you're not getting it. I might just do it on my phone tonight actually

For ****s and giggles, I downloaded and installed the gingerbread launcher modaco ported. Its on the market.

Its scrolling is smoothest out of any stock android launcher yet. It does not have a 3d effect though.
