Screenshots of peoples Droid desktops?

I have an example of a desktop fail...

I went back to the old concrete wallpaper. I dunno, kinda digging it. I run everything either off the H.Launcher or the buttons under the calender via apps organizer. I hardly go into the apps drawer even though I like the new one.

I think I want to change my upper icons like the batter to the 3D ones I have been seeing. Where are the best ones?
Anyone know where I can get a live matrix wallpaper or if there is one?
UD8.1, Helix 3D launcher

what calendar widget are u using?
That is Pure Grid Calendar Widget, it syncs with your google calendar too.

Yep, except I have mine syncing with my works outlook exchange server since I put all my stuff there.

Anyone know if that calendar syncs with iCal?

-Really? I wouldn't have thought that the original home screen would be active with Helix running. You lost me with the .BAK reference...what exactly would I be renaming?

p.s. Thanks for the suggestions.

Sorry. I start to assume that everyone is as fluent in some of the terms used around here.

If you clean out the stock home, you will get better performance from your home replacement. Home replacements are like GDE, Pandahome, Helix, Helix2, etc.

If you are rooted, you can even edit some of the system files. The stock home is a system file, and if you were to rename it from launcher.apk to launcher.bak or launcher.apk.bak, then it keeps it from reopening. This allows more memory for your home replacement and other apps.
-Thanks for the explanation. I'm fairly computer literate, but VERY new to unix/linux so some of the syntax and cause/effect is completely new to me.

I've eliminated everything from the home screen, will rename it next...

Since you seem to be a good person to ask, what is a good "minimum" amount of internal memory to keep free? As you no doubt read from my previous post I have a TON of apps and at least for the time being I rarely have more than about 29Mb of internal memory free. I'm hoping to pull sound files out of various soundboards and then delete them to free up space. But I don't have a good idea of how much performance increase I'll get by freeing up another 10Mb or so.

I'm also considering overclocking (I"m rooted already), but would like more guidance on how much I can push without risking harm to the phone.

Advice is appreciated.

Wow, man. You know you could at least PM'd me about any issue you had with my beta mod. Instead I keep finding posted pics of my mod with the launcher2 lanscape problem, which has been a known issue. There is two other lanuchers in there like the regular drawer and the Helix one that you could have used. The launcher2 is the only launcher still that has intergrated buttons without having icons cluttering the screen. I know of no other launcher that does that, an that why I kept it in, to give users a choice.

That's kinda low to bash a users work when all their doing is trying to create for others, an especially one that helped you earlier.
