Thanks to everyone on this thread for showing all the cool stuff that can be done to our phones

Here is how I had mine configured with the stock Android launcher:
AndroidSS.jpg

L1: News and weather
C: Folders by subject and communications launchers
R1: Notes, calendar, web launchers and control widgets

And now with Helix :icon_ banana::
HelixSS1.jpg

L2: News and weather
L1: Control and music widgets and launchers
C: Folders by subject and communications launchers
R1: Notes, calendar and web launchers
R2: 4x4 calendar

I limited myself to 5 screens. Helix seemed to FC much more often when I had it set to 7 screens and using all 7 with widgets and picture frames. Perhaps this could be exacerbated by having 250+ apps installed

I'm still playing around with widgets and the layout. Next big step will be customizing icons (anyone have a good DIY link?).

Hello, I REALLY love your calendar!... How can I get something like that? I'm 99% sure you are rooted. I'm not right now, but I will be after I get update Droid 2.1... Then I will make the big move.

TIA

I'm sad now... had to remove HelixLauncher (AGAIN!)... it kept force closing and after each one, my droid got slower and slower in response...

...I'd not even finished designing it... I'm back to square one... can I cry on someone's shoulder??? *waaahhh*

...really needed a crying smiley showing here... *smh*

sounds to me like you have a problem with OTHER apps you may have installed causing Helix to Force Close, do you have some sort of task manager or task killer installed? any other Home Replaments installed?

-I think it's called "Calendar Pad Widget". It's not interractive, in case that matters, but it does auto-update off your gmail calendar info.

Thanks. Heres a pic of my homescreen, the wallpaper is from the "wallpaper" app by mabilo, which I highly recommend it has tons of awesome wallpapers and theyre all free.

heres the actual wallpaper

What battery icon is that in your notification bar with the % notification? I have the round notification one with the % left, but it only reports in intervals of 20 (i.e 100,80,60,etc). I was looking for one that does it in intervals of 10%.

Sorry I have no idea what its called, it came with CyanogenMod.
