Screen Time Out

With my Original Droid, there was an option (cant remember if it was there before root or not) that allowed me to set the screen to not time out as long as the phone is connected to a power source. I just got an Dinc and am not finding anything like this in the settings.

Does it exisit?

In applications tap on development there is a setting to keep the screen on while its charging.

I have my screen time out set on 10 minutes however late at night or in the middle of the night my screen shuts off repeatedly. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Sometimes I have to click the top button 10 times to get the screen to stay on.

Is it related to a low battery situation? If not, I would try a Factory Hard Reset. It's a pain, but it fixes a lot of abnormalities.

some people have mentioned that they solved this by unchecking the "In Pocket Detection" under Display settings...not sure if something was contacting the device and making it think it was in a pocket or what...

I use an app called "Screeble" which lets you adjust the screen shutting off under certain conditions, etc...
