Rooting on new .9 baseband

I'm wondering how does one go about rooting the thunderbolt on the new 2.11.605.9 baseband version. I saw a forum post in google saying its not possible yet, but it was a month old and another post said a guy had done it. so what is the situation currently?

You need to backdate the phone. You can get the directions here [HOW-TO]Downgrade to get S-OFF after updating to latest OTA 2.11.605.9
