Hey, so I finally installed the ICS leak and then flashed Eclipse 1.2.1 from Recover 2.0, along with patches, but I do not have the power widgets in my notification pane? Is there a setting for that?

The toggle in the notification is part of 1.2.2 which seems to have been pulled due to bugs. I downloaded and installed Notification Toggle from the market and it works wonderfully after some tinkering around and some translating...

Thank you, that worked great, though I can't wait for them to be baked into the ROM as the Notification Toggle app can't actually toggle everything such as GPS or 4G without throwing you into another menu first.

Anyway, does anyone else have trouble reading the text of people's names and status in gTalk when viewing their buddy list? I loved the inverted gapps in GB Eclipse, but it seems to not work as well under ICS...the conversation view doesn't even seem to have gotten inverted, so it seems like JUST the background of the contact list is black, but all other colors remain as though it were white.

Fixed Inverted gTalk

Hi, as I'd imagine this is an issue for everyone, I found and tested a working alternative version of gTalk that's inverted better than the one in 1.2.1 at least. You can get it here, and just install via safestrap and select the zip and you're good to go. Now people's names will show up in white against the black. Still sad about how the ICS gTalk changed the layout of conversations and also seems to have removed the feature that would show who is on a mobile device.

DO NOT USE TIB TO RESTORE ANYTHING.... TIB IS BAD for changing roms.

I don't understand, Surely you mean "Don't use TIB to restore any system apps!" right? because if I can't restore my user apps, then something is Seriously wrong, and the rom is unusable. I have hundreds of apps that I spent a lot of time to configure, and they have already successfully ridden Titanium Backup not only across roms, but across phones, and from Froyo to GB at the same time.

I am pretty happy with Eclipse GB 1.3.8 but was hoping to upgrade to ICS now that it's official. Since Cyanogen is still broken as far as I can tell (Really? no "Home"?), your rom looks like a promising lead except for this statement here.

The only one that incapacitated my phone was restoring "Phone/Messaging Storage" - not to be confused with "Messages". It caused a recurring force close that wouldn't let me do just about anything. I had to restore a backup.

Agreed. It's more of a suggestion. Kind of "your results may vary" kinda thing. If it works for you with no problems, great! If you notice issues though, that might be your problem.

So I have flashed the ROM with no problems but have run into an issue with Foxfi, mine tells me it can't launch Wifi tether and to try bluetooth. I went back and tried flashing the tether patch but each time it fails. It starts to install and gives me the message that the Installation Aborted? Anyone had this issue and been able to resolve it? I love the new ROM but I rely greatly on my wifi tethering...

Did anyone have an idea about how come this isn't working? I'm having the same problem and it seems I can't use foxfi or open garden. Probably not until I can apply the patch.

First let me say thank you for this ROM! My wifi tether is working and I'm using foxfi. I just used fastboot files with rsd lite 5.7 to get to ics, installed safestrap and busybox. Now I figured since this would be my first install of a custom ROM on ics I wouldn't have anything to wipe. So I just flashed with no wipe of anything and all of my apps came along minus the vzw apps, which I don't miss, everything is working fine so far. The patch for tether would not install but maybe it's working because I didn't wipe data.

I'd like to second this. The way the keyboard is mapped now, caps-lock not do anything at all (would be better if it just acted as another shift key even)

Anyone know how to change the key-maps easily? Or could this be patched?
