i did it the nerdy way turns out it was com.motorola.blur.setup that was crashing not your setup. i think you might want to delete Setup.apk in /system/app cause thats what was causing my issues

when jumping to a new patch, 1.2.4b to 1.2.4c should i have to wipe data/cache??
No need, just flash it and reboot. The script for installing the rom already clears cache, and when upgrading the rom, keeping data has been working for me just fine.

Okay thanks, flashing 1.2.4c in a minute. Also, I did the stock CamRevert patch and when I go to take a picture then view the picture by clicking the thumbnail, and try to share the picture i get a popup "No applications can perform this action"

Yes, that is a bug with that camera, but I still personally prefer it to the one that comes with the ROM since it lets you tap-to-focus and also set the volume keys to act as a shutter button. Additionally it lets you turn the shutter sound off. I'd recommend trying out QuickPic or something like that, and after taking a photo just view in QuickPic and share from there instead, or even go to compose an MMS or email and just attach the file through that instead. I'd imagine this issue has to do with some of the blur stripped outta the rom, and the Gallery being stupid and not using the normal "share" api.

okay thanks guys! just wanted to make sure i wasnt the only one aware of this, ill stick to the camera the rom comes with :) although when I'm in the camera and i go to settings and look at the picture size, it says it's highest is 5MP, and the setting below it is 5MP. Is the highest setting really 8MP and just says 5?
Highest setting:

One setting below highest

oh yes, that's why I gave up on the default camera, it ONLY takes pictures as "widescreen" which is effectively 5mp because it crops the top and bottom off the image to make it 16:9 instead of the full 4:3 that the sensor is.
