Is there a way to sync the photos from Facebook of just your existing contacts? This use to be an option but I didn't have the option if I add my Facebook account now.

in Apex there was the option? AFAIK, that's an option available only in the stock Facebook app, which doesn't work on Blur since the Blur sync overrides it.

If you use Blur to sync though, it'll only give you all contacts in the actual contacts app. You will still only have "existing contacts" in the phone app, since it only shows people with phone numbers.

It's in the removedapps archive in the first post. Put the Mynet.apk on your sdcard, then in terminal emulator:

su
install Mynet.apk

Nope, this was adding a contact shortcut, but when you tapped a shortcut it popped out available contact options (like tapping a contacts picture in the contact listing). Im assuming since the Rubix ROM I had was completely blurless, this was part of Android itself.

Was a simple, but nice feature.

i thought i saw a post somewhere that said the AOSP messaging doesn't pull contact pics from facebook. open terminal emulator and type:

Yeah, that's as close as the one in Rubix. The one built in was just super clean looking as it was just the single contact by itself and super easy to add to the screen.

not that i can see. i use handcent. and as a tip to anyone else who does, you have to do the steps above if you want to be able to receive and send mms through handcent. fab had stated that AOSP messaging doesn't play nice with that program.

Honestly I hate the AOSP text messaging.. the only thing I like about it is that it's blacked out..

It doesn't pull contacts and it has a tendency to take me to a completely different thread then the person I click on

This is going to sound really silly, but I seem to have accidentally placed an app over where the app drawer was. How do I get my app drawer back? Swiping up and down does nothing, so...

It seems I'm always messing up the app drawer on this, but I love everything else on this ROM so I really don't want to have to factory reset again. D:

I cannot access the dialer. It goes black then goes right back to my home screen effectively making my smartphone just a smart.

Ahhh, adw and moving that trash bin to the top.....

-Long press open area of home screen (as if to add a widget)
-select "custom shortcut"
-Click "pick your activity"
--Select "Launcher Actions"
----Select "Open/Close App Drawer"
-Click Ok
Now take that new shortcut and move it back over where the launcher button should go.

Done. Repeat next time it happens . I know it will....
