Ringing The SD Notification Ringtone

I have The Droid 2 Global and i have the ringtone set to an mp3 tone, but my phone continues to ring the obnoxious sd tone. i do have the sd notifications box unchecked.
Someone please help me!

What is selected when you go into Menu>Settings>Sound>Phone ringtone? Just want to know what it's showing before I have you do anything too drastic.

Its showing tht my rintone is set to a song.
