Folks, looking for a little help for the non tech savy here.
It seems since the first time I imported a backup .csv file (of my contacts): whenever you press the icon for a contact (as the three function icons slide into view-call, view contact or send text): it now provides x2, or x3 listings of the same phone number?
I tried merging duplicates in gmail, then re-sync. It does not work. It also triplicated all my contacts in gmail.
The only method that seemed to work was to view each individual contact and 'subtract' the phone numbers. but if you delete the second or third copy of the name, the entire contact would disappear as well.
Is this a bug? Is there a fix? Am I the only one going crazy?
