the 3rd time it worked not idea why it didn't the other's. Its in data/app now too. On my droid X anyways

My d1 works all good the way you released it and intended it too.

I am gettin frustrated, cant freeze remove or kill the updater... running skyraider 3.5 with distINCtion inverse black&blue. Ive flashed other markets by removing original, flashing a new stock one, rebooting and flashing the custom market after that. I get a custom market that works once and gets updated.
Whenever i delete the com.android.vending.updater the market goes unresponsive and i have to restore because a dependency is gone.

2 things, strange, u are correct the link in OP is back up.

2ndly, um, is the file to be flashed in recovery? Was I supposed to uninstall the previous updates to the market? Because I didnt, I flashed the zip Droid Does posted via CW recovery, now I have no market what so ever?

Don't see one called "Black Market" in your app drawer? I flashed with SPR after uninstalling updates and it worked perfectly.
