recent apps

so... i (like aparently most of you) found the default launcher to be outright rubbish, especialy having been used to the droid1 having launcher pro, so of course boom copied right over
but the other day i grabbed my sisters droid 3, using the custom launcher. i held the home button to bring up the recent apps, and was greated by a page that not only had recent apps but also a launcher and other cool toys in there as well as not only showing me the last 8, but up to as many as it could remember
is there any way to get that launcher, that recent apps screen from holding home, but keep my much improved launcher

I really doubt that its possible since thats function is tied directly to the launcher itself. If someone comes in here and says its possible, I would be greatly shocked (pleasantly so though haha)

That's the default launcher for blur gingerbread... I don't think any launcher has a similar system. I had GoLauncher which had a similar tab in the app drawer of recent apps.

Im using adw ex launcher and mine will only bring up 6 recent apps...

This is a feature I don't care much about everything else about adw I love
