Reading PDF files?

Does the Droid come with software that should be able to open PDF files? Whenever I try I get this error:

error opening file: the page catalog is invalid

I have done some googling and can find nothing on this exact error message.

There are a view pdf viewer apps, i would suggest trying one of those and seeing if it opens.

Thanks for the suggestion, they're all giving suspiciously the same error code. Searching for the exact error code on Google turns up only 2(!!) web pages. WTF?

Tried a soft reset.

I am noticing each time I try to open the file, a duplicate of the file is being created on the SD card:

Document.pdf
Document (1).pdf
Document (2).pdf

etc etc.

Could my SD card be going bad already?

I just cannot believe nobody else in the world has had this error before. Makes me at least happy to be within the 30 day return window :X Maybe Verizon will replace my SD card gratis?

Now the damn thing won't wake up from sleep no matter how much I mash that power-up button. Damn it's just gone and crashed and burned.

Ok I just installed the app called "BeamReader PDF Viewer" and it opened my pdfs up great. Try that one, if you haven't already.

Will try. But shouldn't Quickoffice open PDFs?

Also, Documents To Go (the pay version) gave the same error code.

Will let you know about this other reader.

Daaaang! Quickoffice and Documents to Go spit out that Page Catalog error, but the app you suggested works. WTF?

Android 2.0 compatibility?

Thanks for the suggestion.
