RAZR's motion sensor while on a call is not working?

When I first got the phone, the RAZR would detect when I was on a call with someone and the screen would turn to black to save battery. But now when I am on the phone with someone, the screen stays on and then the 'end call' interface freezes up or disappears.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

ok try this. wipe the glass clean, especially near the censor (top left of screen.) reboot the phone.

Now go ahead and make a phone call to someone that can just sit on the phone and say nothing:) Don't put the phone up to your ear just let them pick-up. Take your hand and wave it over the top left of the handset slowly. See if it detects it and shuts screen down.
