This is the topic of discussion right now and I found an article that intrigued me on it that I'll like below.

Is Google correct in trying to force the issue with calibrating the display or do you think they may be trying to hide a flaw in the POLED display that will not be found until after you uncheck the box?

By the way a shout out to @CJM whose wallpaper I am using on my Note 8.

I was reading another article on color settings and all.. I'm sure they will push update with all the complaints

Btw, I have 4 codes for Mad's apk. Holler if you want one. If you have my Hangouts then that's a plus.....

Alright I agree with the folks that say see the phone for yourself. I wouldn't cancel your pre-order based on the complaints. You may not like it but see it for yourself and if then you don't like it return it.

I plan on using it a few days solid before I can honestly post my for opinion. But so far not bad.

It's true.. I've had nothing but a great experience no issues.. Talking with mods who have the phone and they absolutely love their phones with zero issues..

Natural, boosted, or saturated, what are you going with?

could not tell the differences in the above post. imo, most would not even care. they just want a phone that works

The latest update from Google addressed for those that felt like the colors were muted. So now you can go boosted, natural (color that was considered muted), or saturated (which made the phone look pink).

I played around a little bit. Didn't notice too much difference between "Boosted" and "Normal", but Saturated was a little too overblown for me. I opted to leave it at Boosted though.

(sigh)

Go into settings and see if you can find the setting to check for vivid colors setting.

I think Boosted is just the vivd colors checked from before, natural is unchecked, and Saturated is just extreme.
