phone wont open on computer re droid 4

I went through all the posts I could find, I tried debuggin on and off, i updated drivers, i tried multiple usb cords, ports etc. My phone will charge but I cant view the internal storage to get rid of and transfer photos/music etc. I know I could early on when I first bought the phone.

Any other ideas?

Are you not getting the option to toggle usb settings in your notification bar?

No, no notification at all

Have you tried another D4 USB cable? Other cords will charge different phones but a lot will not recognize non-factory cables for doing USB transfers.

ive bought 3 different cords from verizon at this point, and its the same with them all.

Sounds like it's the connector then. Other people have had this problem with their RAZRs.

Tell VZ you've tried multiple cords and it's clearly the hardware and that they need to give you a new phone.
