i just canceled my inc order and im going to pre order at bestbuy on monday.. im not sure how it will work tho because the order may not be canceled by then so i would technically not be available for an upgrade.. i may just wait until verizon allows pre-orders and camp out XD

They didn't check my upgrade status when I pre-ordered. I guess they figure if your not eligible but you want to pay full retail that's on you. Most of the folks in the pre-order thread said their upgrade status wasn't checked either but I think a few were so it may vary store to store.

Yup ready for it.

I dunno guys... I'm thinking about going to spring for the evo for few reasons. one of them being a great discount for military and cheaper overall service. with 450 mins, unlimited text and unl data with verizon I pay nearly 100 bux and that's with the military discount.

plus I like the evo's 4g capability (not that we have it in FL yet lol) and it's a world phone, and I have family in Turkey, and also for iraq/afghanistan for whenever I get deployed there. I think the front facing camera is cool too since I can use that to chat with family far away... and supposedly the camera is much better.

that being said, Droid X is lighting fast (and the benchmarks are done on 2.1) and it has a sligthly larger screen. plus battery life will be better due to the OMAP processor.

I don't know guys... I think I might switch over to sprint. we'll see I guess

oh wow really? I thought it was a SIM. isn't Sprint all SIM cards I thought they were a GSM network of some sort?

that's a true bummer then
