I am currently using Cricket Huawei Ascend II M865, which is a moderate end phone, but works much better with custom ROM.
I have a number of years general IT experience and can get my head around pretty much anything computer technology with the correct information.
My current rom is DUCKMOD which is a CyanogenMod/MiUI. I have tried three other roms and this seems to be the best as it is a full CyanogenMod v 7.2. I will be holding on to this phone for a while and DO NOT like contracts.
Currently overclocked to MHz with swap, dalvik external cache, A2SD from Dark Tremor and works marginally well.
Most of the issues pertaining to this phone I have found answers to - stock reset, clockwork mod, rooting, roms, etc. and will be happy to help.
