Note 3 camera flash and features not working

Hello! My wife and I just each bought a Galaxy note 3. Mine is perfect, however, her battery would not charge anymore (2 days after we bought it). Took it back to best buy and swapped it with another unit. It charges! Now, though, when she turns camera on most of her camera features are grayed out, even flash. And she only has 3 picture resolutions to choose from as I have more than that. Anyone heard of this? Thanks for your help!!!

Mine also failed to flash even though flash was enabled, auto. Also it would not flash with it enabled, always. I downloaded 2 flashlight programs that failed also. I rebooted the phone and all has been well since. Must be like MS windows.

Enjoy your phones, I love mine in spite of a few gotchas.
