noob question

I'm currently running bb v4 and today 2.2 update keeps popping up. Should I update so it can go away or how can I stop it. I have to put install later constantly. Thanx in advance.

Your custom recovery should not let the install complete...in other words after you download it and start the install process it should fail and not bother you again
