New to X, ? about contact order

I just got a Droid X today and Im wondering how to change the format of the contacts, in my old phone I had them set up like a phone book, last name first, on the X they are arranged by First name.....anyone know how to do this? thanks

the default app can not be changed. You can try a contact app from the market as some do

I was told that if you go to gmail and change the sort there in CONTACTS that it would sync correctly. I haven't had that experience but you might give it a try
