Need A New Battery, Where to Buy From?

I'm in need of a new battery, I'm only getting 4 hours of moderate use off the one I have now. I bought my OG Droid off a friend of mine's girlfriend, and I'm pretty sure it's the original battery that came with it. I was thinking it was the ROM, but after several changes I really see the same amount of discharge for each. So what do you guys suggest for this broke college grad?

Like the mah and what not? I'm not exactly sure what to look for in a battery.

amazon. bought a new one from amazon two weeks ago. u can look for a regular (1390 mah), a slim extended (1500 mah), or an extended batter (2700 mah)

Are you guys buying the Motorola branded ones or some non-branded ones? If so what shops? I read quite a few reviews this morning about people buying batteries off Amazon and they're basically unbranded pieces of garbage and how their older batteries that were dead lasted longer than the new ones. This is what I'm trying to avoid.

I bought one off eBay for $20 with an external charger. Off brand 3500 mAh. I really like it.

random rom'd X

I found a supposedly Motorola branded 1300 mAh one on eBay for 5 bucks with free shipping. Now what is the etiquette on charging it up and getting the most out of my battery?
