Navigation problems

New to Forum and the DroidX. For some reason, my navigation feature will not operate properly. All I ever get is "searching for GPS." My settings are set at Wi Fi on, GPS on, and the Enhanced GPS on. Any idea or assistance? Thanks

Try rebooting. Are you running a custom ROM.

Yes, I did re-boot several times. Also took out battery. No I am not running what you mentioned

i've had the same problem for over 1 month. whenever i use google maps, my location is off by like 1 mile. took it to verizon and they couldn't figure it out. called verizon tech. support and they wanted to send me a refurb. =[

I also had this problem, after the standard "trouble shooting " I am setting up a replacement without any gps issues.

sounds like a bad unit to me. talk to verizon and see what they can do. if you just bought it new, i would not accept a refurbished phone.
