my root didnt work :(

I used qbking77's video and I did everything and my phone downloaded superuser but the root checker says its not rooted

I just rooted mine using the thread Sydman provided.

Very straightforward, quick, and easy.

I highly recommend you follow the video posted by DroidModderX and making sure you see his steps before proceeding with yours. Be patient with Odin as well as it can take up to 3min to get "rest" to "pass".
