Motorola in the cell carrier business?

Just saw a commercial where moto was promoting a new cell carrier called consumer cellular with a free moto phone an $10 plans no contracts an AARP discount for AARP members. Sooo the question is am I missing something?

Co-op I didn't think moto did that I thought they just relied on the carrier for the advertising I didn't think they did it themselves
