Motorola Droid 2.1

From the sound of it, that 64mb 'patch' people are reporting about may have been a trail run for Verizon just to see how things went. That's a pretty big patch, and when you are pushing it to hundreds of thousands of phones that's going to take a tole! Might have been something in there to prevent it from executing once it was downloaded. I have no idea though, thats just a guess by me. Otherwise one would expect some kind of official announcement.

You shouldn't scare your fellow 'Skins fan like that. Maybe i haven't received my update as punishment for dropping my Droid this morning.

Maybe the 2.1 update is going to be pushed out different then the 2.0.1. Why does everyone assume that it will be pushed out to a few then a feww more over so many days?? why wouldn't they just give everyone the chance to get it at one time?? I guess they can't over load servers but who knows. Another point is I remember last week on motos twitter they said they would give us a date when the update was closer. I haven't heard any official date so my guess nothing is going to happen tomorrow and this is how I feel until someone with some concrete evidence tells me otherwise.

Staggers is a safer bet. VZW will want it in pieces so if they have tech trouble and people need to call. The lines won't be busy that way :icon_ devil:
