I saw that the fascinate includes mobile IM. Is this like the application from dumbphones on verizon where it uses txt messages instead of data? If so could anyone post the apk? I'd like to take advantage of my unlimited texting. It seems that IM through text message would save battery life.

I just got off the phone with a Verizon cs rep asking them the same question, and yes, the mobile IM always uses your txt message allowance and does not count towards your data package.
