Does anyone know of a flash drive with a micro usb connector, or an SDHC card reader with a micro usb connector? I'm getting nowhere with a search engine. A first.

Not off the top of my head. I use a USB SD card reader with an adapter. Both came with a microSD card that I bought from Sandisk.

Thanks. Looks like I'll have to do the same.

Thanks, but I was looking for a micro USB connector so I can plug it directly into the phone.

I don't think that would work. Even if you do find the right cable to plug it in, I doubt the phone would be able to recognize it. Are you looking to give your Droid a 2nd SD card?

I would like to transfer data without a computer.

As far as I know, droids lack host capability for usb... so I doubt there's any way to make such a thing work.

Bummer. Thank you very much for the responses. It is appreciated.

I have a small micro SDHC card on my phone. To use the computer with card reader, I have to micro SDHC card into an adapter that looks like a SDHC card - which means I deal with this card. It's so small you can leave it plugged into a USB port - even when you put your laptop in a bag. The Micro SDHC USB card reader is $ 9.99.

That is actually a good idea, I wonder if anyone:

  1. Makes one of these
  2. can come up with the app for this.
