how is anybody that bought the droid back in November eligible for the early upgrade $200 pricing on the X? doesn't our contract have to be up sometime before the end of this year to be eligible for that?

Well since im on a family plan i had to use my mothers line to get the droid and now my line is up so im getting the DX with my line

The way I take it is even if you sign a 2year contract you are still eligible for an upgrade every year and just resign a new 2 year contract. You just don't get the $50 towards new every two. If that the case then yea everyone who got droid at launch is eligible.
