Maxx HD 8 hour battery

Hi everyone,

I just bought the Razr Maxx HD because it boasted the best battery around however in the first week I've been using it the battery is pathetic. I start work at 6am with a full charge and just from light browsing, checking Fb, Insta, snapchat and emails maybe once or twice an hour, it destroyed the battery in 8 hours. I usually close my apps when I finish with them and I'm with Telstra (which is meant to have by far the best network in Aus)

Just wondering if anyone else has problems or fixes they could share?

Something doesn't sound right.. Are you in a good signal area? Is the phone possibly fighting to get signal.. That phone can do 18 hrs with your eyes closed..

yeah something isnt right. I can easily go over 20 hrs on a charge

Yes.. something is wrong. I get 30-45 hours consistently with moderate use.

BK dodger guy... have you let the battery rundown to around
4%, then shut the phone down, and fully charged to 100%?
Do this a few times and you should get a much better
battery life. Also... did you get the Jellybean update
(4.1.1)? If so, please do a factory data reset.
If these steps fail to improve your battery life, ask
Verizon for a replacement.

Something is really wrong. I get a couple of days off mine with similar use. I was thinking of trying to jump my truck battery with this damn thing!
