Verizon is offering a trade in for cash towards a new phone, will having this update on my phone not allow me to trade it in
?

This shouldn't effect that. It's not rooting. But what Verizon would do i can't speak for. I doubt any of those morons even know what version it's supposed to be on lol.

MattyP, you probably should place the answer to this on your instructions or add another disclaimer.

Likwid_E the answer to this question is not known, but this is a leak moto update and should not affect future updates..but again..it isnt known...

215 leak install issue

I keep getting an error 7 when trying to install the 215 leak. I am on 211.. Used voodoo to temp unroll..booted into,stock recovery and found the update file (blur 211) and install gets aborted. I even defrosted all the apps with tiny...what am I missing?

'The process will take a few minutes to complete, and along the way you will see "Upgrading Android" do not do anything or push any buttons until it's done and your phone has rebooted. Then after rebooting, go into Menu Button > System Settings > About Phone and make sure your version is .215 now. That's it, you are done!! '

My screen shows (in blue font) REBOOT SYSTEM Now, along with other choices. However, below the blue font, in Green Font it shows: Install from SD card complete.

My question is this: Is it time for me to select the Blue REbOOT SYSTEM now? Your instructions lead me to believe that the phone should have rebooted on its own. Am I wrong?

Thanks, so much! All appears to be fine! Looking forward to learning about ROOTING? Fightened, to do it. Guess I can if I have instructions as good as Tne 215 Leak Install. Any suggestions? Also, still a bit confused about ROMSS are they dangerous to toy with. Sre they needed,and if so, for what reasons?
