Lost phone, what to safeguard?

I lost my Droid today (first one I've lost in 15 years of having a cell phone). I assume I am safe by simply changing all the passwords of accounts that I've used. The phone doesn't cache gmail or contacts locally on the phone, correct? I changed gmail, twitter, facebook, pandora, and verizon wireless accounts, and I think that's all I used my phone to access.

Darn it, I like the phone too. Now I've got an a-n-c-i-e-n-t motorola flip phone until Asurion sends me my replacement. Not quite the same thing.

did you call VZW too to report it lost? they can put the ESN in the system as lost so no one else can use it.

When you get your next phone, put prey on it so you can see if you can get a GPS location on it. Prey is a good thing if you loose your phone. preyproject.com
