well i planed to buy a droid from someone, but they backed out of the deal, as I apparently asked too many questions. so does any one know where i can pick up a used one for less than 200? i've been searching on CL but no one returns my inquiries.

What kinds of questions are you asking? Your main question should be is the ESN good, if not will you take it back.

$200.00 is still pretty cheap IMHO for a D1. Are you under contract with Verizon? Have you made an attempt to see if they will push forward your renewal date and offered you a D2 at a price around 200.00? It's worth a try.
