Liberty on d2g?

Git er done's rommer let liberty 2.0.1 work on the d2g but now that gingerbread is the base of the new liberty can I just flash gbread on my d2g and will it work or what? Fenom resets like a mother and I've never had luck with angel's rom. Anybody?

You cannot update the kernel. Liberty based on Gingerbread won't work on a Froyo kernel.

It will not work at all, until the D2G sees an official Gingerbread leak, which seems to be further and further away.
