LG Trolls Samsung by Locking Up a Massive Array of 'Edge' Trademarks

It looks like the LG's lawyers are having some fun at Samsung's expense. The South Korean firm has been busy grabbing up as many trademarks as possible that all have "Edge" somewhere in their name. Here's a rundown of what they have so far:

• Super Edge
• Dual Edge
• Upper Edge
• Dual Side Edge
• Side Edge
• Double Edge
• Two Edge
• G Edge

It seems unlikely that LG actually intends to use any of these trademarks for real products, so the only theory we have is that LG is trolling Sammy. Perhaps the execs at LG need to give their legal team some extra work...

Actually LG announced its curved screen tech before Samsung did so maybe they're doing an Apple thing and getting ready to sue Samsung after releasing their own edged (extra d , not covered in the trademark, voids any suit against me muhaha) products.

Yup! Pretty soon they will start suing CK even if he uses the word "edge" in another word. For example,

CK warns Stormy, "Don't fall off that ledge!" *Samsung sues*
CK tells his neighbor, "Your cat is hiding in that hedge." *Samsung sues*
CK tells the Deli, "I'd like to order that cheddar cheese wedge." *Samsung sues*

Pretty soon we will see CK chained to a wall in Samsung's offices completely indebted to them for all eternity...
