Lets all flood Verizon on Oct 1st!!!

Verizon approved .246 and unless they pull any last minute crap, it will go OTA as soon as the Atrix 2 push is finished. Both sargentmajord and SamuriHL have soild info that is is approved. Refer to the wireless moot thread - but do know, it's a huge thread.

EDIT: It was actually signed off on Wednesday, September 24th

Really sucks how the Atrix 2 jumped in front. It practically showed up out of the blue.

True but only issue is it was quoted by a leaked source of sarge not vzw xyboard has actually been quoted by vzw themselves and on their twitter feed and support pages. Don't get me wrong I would be very happy for them to roll it to bionic all I'm saying is for people not to get hopes up.

Excuse me I stand corrected DROID life's twitter feed stated xyboard was officially approved

I am well past looking for the ICS OTA. I am proceeding as if it will never happen. If it does, it will be a pleasant surprise! Otherwise I will bide my time until next upgrade and my next phone will not be a Moto.

You know...because it's Moto's fault that VZW approved and then disapproved the last 10 builds....

If what your looking for is timely updates...you're going to have to leave carriers not manufacturers.

Me? I've had mine on ICS since Q2...so I could really care less when it comes

I believe Sarge's sources more than anything coming directly from VZW, unfortunately. VZW has proven to be very inaccurate with some of their statements.

And all of the ICS builds have outperformed ANYTHING we have see with GB.

Since I did not obtain a leaked version, I have not personally had a chance to experience ICS, so I'll defer to your experience with the various leaks. I'd be curious why Moto and VZW can't get together on the official update if the recent leaks are functioning properly.

For some reason, Verizon apparently got hung up on a Flash Player incompatibility that also affects the official ICS for the RAZR/MAXX and Droid 4, and refused to approve it because of this. It angered Motorola so much that a bunch of crap went down between them last week. I doubt .246 (the latest leak which Verizon approved) will be delayed any more, Moto stepped in and there will now be (monetary) consequences for VZW interfering. Punit Soni from Motorola has also personally stepped in.

Interesting. Maybe we'll see some results. Thanks for the info.

I'm getting close to loading leaked ICS but I'm still holding out for the official OTA.

There's no reason to continue to suffer on GB. You can load up ICS version 6.7.232 and still be able to return to GB when the OTA does come. Version .232 is not the final version, but it is WAY better than GB and does not suffer from the data drops like .905.

The people at Motorola and Verizon must be laughing their asses off at the control they hold over us. They have us acting like a bunch of barking seals in a pool waiting for someone to throw us a fish! I don't think that the second coming of Jesus is as highly anticipated or talked about as ICS. Hey, maybe Jesus and ICS will arrive at the same time! My guess is for sometime in Q5.
