Keys falling off?!?

Well guys I signed up just because the keys on my motorola droid have begun to peel off. I was wondering if there is a possible fix? I would return it but the red is showing on the water mark so it must of gotten a little damn somewhere along the line. Thanks for any info. Also can someone point me in the right direction for the updates I get on this phone? I swear it seems like everytime I get one of these updates my phone runs worse then before. With the new one I was prompted to download last week i think almost everything lags. viewing gallery is a nightmare and texting also lags. Thanks again for your time.
