Is there an easier way to turn on the phone??

simple solution in this case.....don't look at your phone while driving

Shucks I just won't use the phone anymore while in my car. I'll just toss my $90 bluetooth headset into the trash cuz now I'll never need it again!

If you bothered to read my post... I said I sometimes had to look at it to get my finger on the power button.

I can't even use my bluetooth headset OR voice dialing until I get it powered on.

Actually my wife suggested I glue a piece of toast to it. Then we got into an argument about wheat vs. rye and that idea was shot to hell.
